Thiyagaraja Talkies – Our Creative Vision
Thiyagaraja Talkies is the film production arm of Amitra Groups, born out of a deep love for cinema and storytelling. Though our primary focus lies in Tamil cinema, we also support and produce Telugu projects, giving space to diverse voices and fresh perspectives in South Indian filmmaking.
The banner is spearheaded by A.M. Prabha, the nephew of our founder Kurinji Selvan, who leads the studio under his uncle’s mentorship and guidance. His passion for storytelling and eye for emerging talent reflect the same visionary values that have shaped Amitra Groups.
We have been involved in a range of projects — from financing fresh indie voices to supporting feature films with strong narratives.
